Ravens sign arena league QB, not Kaepernick
The Baltimore Ravens have signed a quarterback. It is not Colin Kaepernick.
With starting quarterback Joe Flacco expected to miss at least one week - and what could be as many as six weeks - due to a back injury, the Ravens brought aboard another passer to participate in training camp. Baltimore elected to sign former arena league quarterback David Olson.
After the announcement of Flacco's injury on Wednesday, Ravens head coach John Harbaugh suggested he might sign a quarterback that previously played for his brother, Jim. Instead of signing Kaepernick, who quarterbacked Jim's San Francisco 49ers to a Super Bowl appearance in 2012, Harbaugh chose Olson, a former Stanford alum.

Olson will join Ryan Mallett and Dustin Vaughan on the Ravens' depth chart.
