Baltimore Orioles owner Peter Angelos appears to be on board with the club selling off some key assets.

Angelos has given Orioles general manager Dan Duquette the green light to pursue deals for their top relievers as well as outfielder Seth Smith, a source told Ken Rosenthal of FOX Sports.

Of the club's relievers, Zach Britton is sure to garner significant attention moving forward. It was reported recently that the Los Angeles Dodgers inquired about the talented closer's availability.

Britton missed over two months with a forearm injury and recently returned to action.

Right-handers Brad Brach, Darren O'Day, and Mychal Givens would presumably be of interest to several teams looking to add to their bullpens. All of the aforementioned relievers are under contract until 2019 at the earliest.

Meanwhile, Smith, who was acquired in the offseason for right-hander Yovani Gallardo, has hit .260/.328/.448 with 10 home runs and 21 RBIs this season. He will earn $7 million this year and will be a free agent at season's end.
