Slowly but surely Teddy Bridgewater appears to be making some progress.

In what can be considered the latest update regarding his ongoing recovery from significant knee injuries - including a torn ACL and MCL - the Minnesota Vikings quarterback posted a series of pictures from a brace-free workout Wednesday.

Bridgewater, who missed the entire 2016 season after getting injured in August, still has no clear timetable for a return.

However, he was present at spring OTAs, wearing a large knee brace, and the 24-year-old has been encouraged by his progress.

Bridgewater emerged as one of the league's most promising young quarterbacks, prior to the devastating injury, leading Minnesota to the playoffs with an 11-5 record as a sophomore in 2015.

The Vikings will continue with Sam Bradford as the starter for as long as Bridgewater remains sidelined.
