Conor McGregor isn't waiting until this week's press conference tour to start lobbing verbal grenades at Floyd Mayweather.

On Monday, ESPN's Darren Rovell reported that Mayweather asked the IRS for a temporary reprieve on his federal tax payments, explaining that he is waiting for what is expected to be a massive check from his upcoming Aug. 26 boxing match with McGregor before he can address what he owes.

TMZ Sports caught up with McGregor in Beverly Hills and he didn't hesitate to mock Mayweather's tax problems when asked for his thoughts on the matter.

"I don't give a f--k what he did," McGregor said, according to MMA Fighting. "I don't give a f--k. I don't care what he done. He should've stayed retired. He's f--ked now. That's the god's honest truth.

"He should have paid his taxes and stayed retired. And kept my name out of his f--king mouth."

Mayweather will get his chance to respond when the two attend the first leg of their media tour in Los Angeles on Tuesday.
