Former Golden State Warriors forward Stephen Jackson has crept into the occasional NBA headline since retiring in 2014, but he took things to a new level of ridiculous during a recent BIG3 press conference.

Sitting alongside Kenyon Martin and Gary Payton, Jackson claimed, "If you got the top 10 guys here, we could beat an actual NBA team," per FOX Sports 1. "That's no gas. I wasn't smiling," he finished.

To make things worse, Martin agreed with Jackson and clarified that a collection of the top BIG3 players would compete with a real NBA team, not just a summer league unit.

Thankfully, Payton stepped in and qualified the discussion by saying the BIG3 squad would require a month to get into shape.

Jackson, who is 39-years-old, could definitely use that month of preparation. In a recent BIG3 contest, he was called out by Charles Oakley for missing a layup.
