Report: Cavaliers, Randolph have mutual interest

Jaime Valdez / USA TODAY Sports

The Cleveland Cavaliers aren't likely to make a massive offseason acquisition with Paul George now in Oklahoma City and Jimmy Butler in Minnesota, but that doesn't mean the Cavs' roster won't undergo a few changes in what has become one of the NBA's craziest offseasons in recent memory.

Veteran power forward Zach Randolph is one of Cleveland's targets, and Z-Bo is interested in the fit as well, a league source told Joe Vardon of Cleveland.com.

Despite being 35 years old with 17 NBA seasons under his belt, Randolph averaged 14.1 points and 8.2 boards in 24 minutes off the bench last season with the Memphis Grizzlies.

He would offer a more prototypical power forward body behind Kevin Love rather than current stretch-fours Channing Frye and Richard Jefferson.
