Report: Raptors confident they'll re-sign Lowry, Ibaka
It's been relatively quiet on the Toronto Raptors' front since NBA free agency officially got underway, yet behind closed doors, there's reportedly a high level of optimism concerning the status of their two big free agents.
The Raptors are confident that deals with both All-Star point guard Kyle Lowry and big man Serge Ibaka will get done, according to Sportsnet's Michael Grange.
Lowry opted out of the final year of his contract that would have paid him $12 million to potentially re-sign for more than $200 million on a max five-year contract.
Team president Masai Ujiri also recently stated that Lowry had expressed his desire to remain in Toronto.

Ibaka was acquired by Toronto a little over a week prior to February's trade deadline from the Orlando Magic in exchange for Terrence Ross and a draft pick. He contributed 14.3 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 1.7 blocks on 46.2 percent shooting per game in 10 postseason appearances before the Raptors got swept in the second round by the Cleveland Cavaliers.
