There was no shortage of candidates to be Kurt Warner's Hall of Fame presenter.
The former quarterback for the St. Louis Rams and Arizona Cardinals played 12 seasons in the NFL and formed an innumerable amount of relationships with players, coaches, and executives. Among the most high-profile are Dick Vermeil, his coach on the Super Bowl XXXIV-winning Rams team; Marshall Faulk, his Hall-of-Fame running back; and Larry Fitzgerald, his superstar receiver with the Cardinals.
In the end, though, no relationship is stronger than the one he has with his family. In a video he shared on social media, Warner said he considered enlisting one of his seven children to present him when he's inducted into the Hall of Fame this summer, but couldn't choose between them.
"I settled on the one person that I believe deserves to share that stage with me more than any others. The person that was there for every win and every loss. For every touchdown pass, for every interception," Warner said.
"The person that had to sacrifice more than any others so that I could chase after my dream of playing professional football. My presenter for the 2017 Hall of Fame induction will be my wife, Brenda."
