Flyers draft Morgan Frost 27th overall

The Philadelphia Flyers drafted center Morgan Frost with the 27th overall pick in the 2017 NHL Entry Draft on Friday.

Frost entered the draft ranked as the 31st North American skater on the heels of a solid season for the Soo Greyhounds. Frost posted 20 goals and 62 points in 67 games played.

At only 5-foot-11 and 172 pounds, Frost will need to bulk up and utilize his speed and offensive skill set to translate his game into the up-tempo style of the NHL.
