Report: Knicks want Brown, Crowder, two 1st-rounders from Celtics for Porzingis
The steep price the New York Knicks reportedly asked from the Boston Celtics in exchange for Kristaps Porzingis consisted of two first-round draft picks (including the No. 3 selection Thursday) and forwards Jaylen Brown and Jae Crowder, a source told the Daily News' Frank Isola.
The Celtics refused, per the report, and are open to countering with just one draft pick. Boston owns the Brooklyn Nets' 2018 first-round pick. Whether Knicks president Phil Jackson is truly serious about dealing Porzingis after a candid admission Wednesday is open to debate, although some have doubts.
"Phil Jackson is just messing with things," an NBA source told the Boston Herald's Mark Murphy.
The Celtics remain in trade pursuit of Kristaps Porzingis, league sources say, trying to assemble a package to meet the Knicks' demands.

The Knicks are believed to have some interest in Kansas forward Josh Jackson, who is expected to be drafted in the first four slots Thursday night.
