Watch: Holm puts Correia away with 3rd-round head-kick KO

Holly Holm is at it again.

The former women's bantamweight champion brought back memories of her incredible win over Ronda Rousey with a third-round head-kick knockout of Bethe Correia in the main event of UFC Fight Night 111 in Kallang, Singapore on Saturday.

After two slow-paced rounds of tentative striking that were only slightly in Holm's favor, "The Preacher's Daughter" unloaded on Correia with a head kick that immediately caused the Brazilian to crumple to the canvas. Holm followed up with a left hand that appeared to be unnecessary as referee Marc Goddard was already rushing in to save Correia from further damage.

The finishing strike came seconds after Correia motioned for Holm to "bring it on." Holm was more than willing to oblige.

Holm wins for the first time since defeating Rousey back in November 2015, ending a nightmarish stretch that saw her drop three straight fights to Miesha Tate, Valentina Shevchenko, and Germaine de Randamie. The loss to De Randamie occurred in a bout to crown the UFC's inaugural women's featherweight champion, which left Holm in a state of limbo between two divisions.

Postfight, Holm wouldn't commit to fighting at 135 or 145 pounds, saying that she intended to take some time to appreciate being back on the winning track.
