Report: Several Cavaliers players 'highly agitated' by Curry's squat
The Cleveland Cavaliers aren't ready to let Stephen Curry off the hook for what he described as a "spontaneous" reaction in Game 3.
Several Cavaliers players are reportedly "highly agitated" about Curry's squat after Kevin Durant's clutch 3-pointer late in the fourth quarter Wednesday night, reports FOX Sports Ohio's Sam Amico, citing a source.
"It won't be forgotten come Friday night," the source said.
Curry squatted on the hardwood at Quicken Loans Arena shortly after Durant's dagger fell through the hoop, appearing as if he might be trying to imitate a bowel movement or pretend he was mooning the fans.
The back-to-back league Most Valuable Player said Thursday that he didn't put any thought into that action or any of his other celebrations, adding that he wishes he had "a little bit more control" under those circumstances.
Golden State took Game 3 on the road, 118-113, and can close out the series Friday to become the first team in NBA history to capture the championship with a perfect 16-0 playoff run.
