Ex-Colts punter McAfee training with wrestling legend Rip Rogers
Before pursuing an NFL career, former Indianapolis Colts punter Pat McAfee had dreams of becoming a professional wrestler.
"If it wasn’t for finding out that my right leg could kick a ball really far, which is what I did, I am 100 percent certain that I would be attempting to be or would be a professional wrestler," he told Jim Ayello of the Indianapolis Star in January.
Now retired from football, McAfee's giving the wrestling thing a shot. He noted in a recent Instagram post that he built a wrestling ring and has shared photos of him training with wrestling legend Rip Rogers.
