The Golden State Warriors and superstar Stephen Curry have agreed on a five-year, $201-million contract, agent Jeff Austin of Octagon told ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.
The two-time MVP was never a threat to leave the Warriors this offseason, but after earning approximately $56.6 million over his first eight seasons, largely from a below-market extension on his rookie contract, Curry was due for a major raise.
Now, he'll rejoin his teammates to defend the Warriors' second championship in three years.
Curry has averaged 22.8 points, 6.8 assists, 4.4 rebounds, and 1.8 steals since entering the league as the No. 7 pick in the 2009 draft.
