Has Adam Silver's secret Twitter account been uncovered?

NBA commissioner Adam Silver opened the floodgates Friday by admitting to having a "secret" Twitter account that he uses to monitor activity on social media.

This led to some investigative journalism on the part of SLC Dunk founder, Basketball John (Kris), who searched far and wide on Twitter to figure out Silver's mystery handle.

His findings eventually led him to @miltonpoint, an account that's tweeted just two times and is protected from the public:

Kris' belief was that Silver's Twitter would follow one of the NBA's official accounts, but since @NBA has 25.2 million followers, searching through that list wouldn't be realistic.

NBA Communications (@NBAPr) has just 1,630 followers, though, and after receiving a list of those accounts, Kris noticed that @miltonpoint stood out like a sore thumb.

Why? Well, its location is listed as New York City (home of the league's headquarters), it follows a large number of accounts and doesn't have many followers of its own, and doesn't have a main profile image to draw attention to it.

Also, Milton Point happens to be a neighborhood in Rye, N.Y., Silver's hometown.

To top it off, Kris discovered that @climber had interacted with @miltonpoint roughly seven years ago, with the significance being that @climber is Adam's brother, Owen.

There's no way of knowing for sure whether @miltonpoint is truly Adam Silver, but with this level of evidence suggesting it is, it's hard to argue against it.
