C.J. McCollum tweets for Klay to 'find his own squad'
Portland Trail Blazers shooting guard C.J. McCollum jokingly chimed in on the notion that Golden State Warriors shooting guard Klay Thompson looked like the odd man out in Golden State's 22-point beatdown of the Cleveland Cavaliers in Game 1 of the NBA Finals.
McCollum took to Twitter to express his thoughts:
Klay gonna get another ring and find his own squad. They better enjoy him while he there π

Thompson, who was just 3-of-16 in Game 1, is averaging only 13.8 points on 36.6 percent shooting throughout the playoffs. With Kevin Durant and Steph Curry totaling 66 points in Game 1, Thompson's six points and four assists had a minimal impact on the outcome.
While McCollum's jab is good for a few laughs, Thompson's hypothetical departure isn't very likely to come to fruition. Golden State has the 27-year-old shooting guard signed through the 2018-19 season at an average salary of $17 million per year.
