Redskins 'getting close' to adding GM

The Washington Redskins have been operating without a general manager since firing Scot McCloughan in early March, but they're making progress on that front.

"We've met with over a dozen people from the outside and talked to everybody on the inside and we're getting close to having a final plan," Redskins president Bruce Allen said to reporters, according to Master Tesfatsion of the Washington Post.

Allen expressed he has no problem adding someone he has yet to work with. He also appears to be comfortable making a number of additions to his front office.

"We're going to be adding at least one, two, maybe three people," he said.
