It looks like Cris Cyborg will fight in the Golden State after all.

The featherweight star will compete at UFC 214 on July 29 in Anaheim, Calif., UFC president Dana White revealed Thursday, although the promotion has yet to book her a dance partner.

"Cris Cyborg is definitely fighting on the July 29 card in Anaheim," White told the "UFC Unfiltered" podcast, according to MMAjunkie, but added, "We're still working on (an opponent)."

The news comes after Cyborg's months-long campaign for a spot on the summer card - preferably against fellow featherweight Megan Anderson. However, with reigning divisional champion Germaine de Randamie rumored to be returning to bantamweight and a game Anderson now set to defend her Invicta FC title, the Brazilian finds herself painfully short on potential takers.

Career bantamweight Cat Zingano had recently been attached to a meeting with Cyborg, although White said she won't be able to make the July event. The 31-year-old Cyborg has long been touted as the UFC's uncrowned featherweight champion, but it remains to be seen whether a title will be at stake when she takes the Octagon next.

Cyborg hasn't set foot in the cage since September's UFC Fight Night 95, when she dispatched Lina Lansberg by second-round TKO for her 17th consecutive victory. Both of her UFC bouts have been contested at a catchweight of 140 pounds.

White did confirm a women's bantamweight bout between former title challenger Sara McMann and Ketlen Vieira for UFC 214. McMann has won three straight - including two by submission - while Vieira is undefeated in eight pro contests and last took a decision over Ashlee Evans-Smith in April.

The July card is expected to be headlined by a light heavyweight rematch between reigning champion Daniel Cormier and former titleholder Jon Jones.
