Oregon shut out in NFL draft for 1st time in 32 years

While teams celebrated having their former players taken in the 2017 NFL Draft, a handful of programs were left with nothing to cheer about, highlighted by Oregon.

For the first time since 1985, the Ducks did not have a single player drafted.

Pharaoh Brown was the best hope to keep Oregon's streak alive, but the tight end's off-field issues and major knee surgery in 2014 likely kept teams away.

Star running back Royce Freeman would most likely have been drafted this year had he not decided to return for his senior season.

Other Power 5 programs that didn't produce a 2017 draft pick were: Arizona, Duke, Iowa State, Kansas, Kentucky, Maryland, Rutgers, South Carolina, Syracuse, and Virginia.
