The San Antonio Spurs have been extremely good for what feels like forever, but even after years of consistent success, they still accomplished something on Tuesday night they'd never done before. With their 95-89 overtime victory over the Memphis Grizzlies, the Spurs clinched their second straight 60-win season for the first time in franchise history.

It is, however, the seventh time in franchise history - and sixth under coach Gregg Popovich - that they've hit the 60-win mark. It's been a mixed bag in the past as to what transpired in the postseason following those campaigns:

Spurs 60-win seasons Record Result
2016-17 60-17* ?
2015-16 67-15 Lost conference semis
2013-14 62-20 Won NBA Finals
2010-11 61-21 Lost 1st round
2005-06 63-19 Lost conference semis
2002-03 60-22 Won NBA Finals
1994-95 62-20 Lost conference finals

Last season's 67-15 squad actually tied for the eighth-best single-season record in NBA history, but ran out of gas in the second round against the Oklahoma City Thunder.
