Bell confirms threat to sit out season was April Fools' gag
Denny Medley / USA TODAY Sports
Don't worry, Pittsburgh Steelers fans, Le'Veon Bell apparently has no intention of sitting out next season due to the franchise tag.
Bell initially said he wouldn't suit up for the whole season if no long-term deal was agreed upon, but because he did so on April Fools' Day, few took the threat seriously.
The running back doubled down on the gag, however, claiming he wasn't joking. But Bell didn't torture Steelers country for long, revealing that it was a prank all along.

Good one, Le'Veon.
It's 364 days until the next April Fools' Day, people. Let's appreciate it.
