Knicks silence all in-game music for 1st half vs. Warriors

Somebody finally stumbled upon a good idea at Madison Square Garden.
The New York Knicks announced they will not play any music, video, or in-game entertainment in the first half of Sunday's matinee game against the Golden State Warriors.
The effort was made to allow fans at MSG to, "experience the game in its purest form," the scoreboard flashed.

A lack of background music (and all the additional bells and whistles that usually accompany it) made the introduction of the respective starting lineups quite jarring.
