There is a question mark in Canada's crease.

Heading into the semifinals against Team Sweden on Wednesday, neither Canadian goaltender has established himself as the team's undisputed starter.

While it has yet to rob Canada's chance at victory, no doubt the team has gotten away with defensive gaffes and shoddy goaltending through round robin and quarterfinal action. By the numbers:

Goalies GP Record GAA SV%
Ingram 3 2-1-0 2.01 .867
Hart 2 2-0-0 2.50 .881

Here's how the Canadian goaltenders stack up against the other three semifinalist nations - the United States, Russia, and Sweden:

Goalie Team  GP Record GAA SV%
Woll USA 2 2-0-0 1.50 .935
Parsons USA 3 3-0-0 1.67 .917
Sukhachyov Russia 1 1-0-0 1.00 .962
Samsonov Russia 4 2-2-0 2.18 .922
Sandstrom Sweden 4 4-0-0 1.75 .917
Gustavsson Sweden 1 1-0-0 2.00 .947

Canadian coach Dominique Ducharme has not yet indicated which goalie will get the call against Sweden.

Whichever netminder gets the nod, Canadians hope the chosen goaltender has saved his best performance for the team's most difficult match.
