Lazio announces acquisition of Jordan Lukaku

No longer known merely for being a bad boy, Jordan Lukaku will continue to redefine himself in Italy.

On Friday, Lazio announced the acquisition of Lukaku from KV Oostende, the Belgian club where the 21-year-old left-back spent the last three seasons of his career.

Of course, Jordan is the younger brother of Romelu Lukaku, Everton's prized forward who, after tallying 18 goals and six assists in the Premier League last season, the Toffees are reportedly preparing to offer a new contract in a bid to keep him at Goodison Park.

Living in his brother's shadow, Jordan, younger than Romelu by one year, got his career together in 2015. The defender was given a €2,880 fine and a 12-month driving ban for speeding and driving without a license. He was also told by the judge that he may go to jail if he offended again.

The incident, combined with the death of VfL Wolfsburg's Junior Malanda, who was Jordan's best friend, resulted in a drastic change of attitude. He had a phenomenal season at Oostende, and subsequently took the pitch alongside his brother at Euro 2016.
