Motocross rider Marc Marquez was forced to improvise at Saturday's MotoGP World Championship after wiping out on his second lap of Q2.

After getting back on his feet, Marquez ran straight towards the service road, where he found a cameraman's scooter that wasn't being used. The cameraman gave an improving nod, but Marquez said he was prepared to hop on regardless.

"... I made a mistake in qualifying and crashed on the second lap," Marquez told MotoGP.com. "The marshals were a bit far away, and I saw a scooter with a key in it and nobody around. When I took it, I saw that it belonged to a photographer, but he let me go. I wanted to get back to the pit as soon as possible, so honestly I would've taken it even if he said no!"

Marquez finished in fourth place with a time of 1'46.430. Not bad, considering what he went through to get to the finish line.
