Timberwolves owner: KG wants to be back for 2016-17

The Big Ticket plans to keep on chugging along.
Having already played 21 seasons in his illustrious career, Kevin Garnett appears set to return for yet another campaign.
"You'd have to ask him, but from everything he's told me, he wants to be (back)," Timberwolves owner Glen Taylor told Darren Wolfson of KSTP.
The 39-year-old has only played 38 games this season after logging just 47 appearances the season prior. Citing a knee injury, Garnett hasn't played a game since Jan. 25.
Nevertheless, despite not taking the court, Garnett has continued to serve the team as something of an assistant coach, taking the Timberwolves' prospects under his wing.
Garnett is under contract for the 2016-17 season for $8 million.
