Penn State tight end Brent Wilkerson has been suspended indefinitely after being charged with one count of indecent assault, a second-degree misdemeanor, and one count of harassment, the school's athletic department announced Tuesday.
Charges against Wilkerson were filed March 8 for an alleged incident that occurred in February. No additional details about the charges were released.
"We are aware of the charges against Mr. Wilkerson," the athletic department said. "He has been suspended indefinitely from all football and team activities until we have more information. We will not have any additional comment as this is an ongoing legal matter"
Wilkerson, a junior, caught six passes for 39 yards last season.
