It wasn't a banner year for Auburn on the gridiron, as the Tigers entered the season ranked high, but struggled early and often.
It didn't get better as they watched rival Alabama win the national championship Monday over Clemson.
However, this weekend at the Universal Cheerleaders Association competition, Auburn's mascot, Aubie, took home the title of mascot national champion.

Aubie knocked off 10 of his peers - including Big Al of Alabama - and thankfully for him, Steve Harvey didn't make the announcement.
