Georgia head coach Mark Richt squashed the rumors regarding the firing of defensive coordinator Jeremy Pruitt Thursday afternoon.
Twitter was set ablaze when a report came out saying Pruitt had been let go following alleged physical altercations.
680 in Atlanta reporting Pruitt could already be out. And that there may have been physical altercations. Yikes.

With everyone in the NCAA world on the edge of their seat, Richt denied the report, saying Pruitt is still with the Bulldogs.
Just so everyone knows, Jeremy Pruitt is our defensive coordinator and is in the office working diligently getting ready for Kentucky!

Richt's tweet provided some stability in a tumultuous week for his team and reputation. In his 14th season as Georgia head coach, he is reportedly losing support from major boosters, and is on the hot seat after losing three of the last four games.
