It's tough being a Nebraska fan these days, and Jack Gangwish knows it.
The Huskers entered Saturday's game against Purdue with three wins, and expected to improve on that total against the one-win Boilermakers.
Make that the two-win Boilermakers. Purdue defeated Nebraska 55-45 in a shootout.
Following the loss, Gangwish climbed into the bleachers and began thanking fans for attending the game, despite yet another disappointing performance.
