It may be a foregone conclusion to some that Nick Bosa will attend Ohio State, but the five-star recruit is still considering Florida and Florida State.
The high school star is the younger brother of current Ohio State standout Joey Bosa, and his mother and uncle are proud alumni.
Ohio State remains the heavy favorite to land the younger Bosa, but he remains undecided on his future.
"I'm just getting ready to take a couple of visits right now,” Bosa told ESPN's Gerry Hamilton (Insider). "I'm not ready to make a decision yet. I just want to visit Florida and Florida State, and then I will be ready to decide."
Bosa is ranked the third-best prospect in the class of 2016 by ESPN, while Rivals.com rates the Fort Lauderdale, Fla., native as the 20th-best player.
The defensive end cited Ohio State's success and his brother's involvement with the program as major reasons why the Buckeyes are the favorite to land him.
"I love coach (Larry) Johnson, and what coach (Urban) Meyer (are) doing up there," Bosa said. "He's changing the culture like he does wherever he goes. It's hard to not like the defending national champion with my brother up there because I get exposed to them a lot, and I get to see it a lot. It's the one program I have got to take an in-depth look at. That's why I have been able to put them as my No. 1."
However, Bosa expressed curiosity about visiting Florida over the summer.
"Florida has always been a top program. They are in my home state, and I have always been a fan of them," he said. "I just want to go check it out. I've never taken a trip there as a recruit so I want to go check it out."
The 6-foot-4 Bosa said a number of players from his high school, St. Thomas Aquinas, have attended Florida State, enticing him to visit.
"They were one of my favorite teams growing up. I have heard a lot of players from St. Thomas have gone there, and they all say I need to go up there and check it out," he said.
It would be a shock if Bosa signed anywhere other than Ohio State, but the allure of staying home and joining one of Florida's two powerhouse programs may make his decision a little more difficult.
