Florida's Adam Lane embraces soiling pants during Birmingham Bowl

 Embarrassing moments are nothing for Adam Lane.

During Florida's Birmingham Bowl game against East Carolina in January, the Gators running back appeared to soil himself on national television. 

Lane told media at a press conference Wednesday that the embarrassing moment actually gave his career the publicity it needed. 

"It was the best thing that could have happened. It got a lot of attention and just put me in a place where I was out there publicly and people knew who I was," Lane said. 

"I really didn't get a lot of grief from it. A lot of people were really more focused on how well I did in the game than anything. I feel like it was that way because I embraced it." 

During the Birmingham Bowl, Lane rushed for 109 yards on 16 carries with one touchdown.
