Ole Miss head coach Hugh Freeze has not made a decision on the fate of quarterback Chad Kelly.
Kelly, a top-ranked dual-threat junior college quarterback, was arrested and charged with multiple misdemeanors stemming from an incident outside of a Buffalo nightclub on Dec. 21.
"The plan for Chad is a phone call tonight with him and his family, then I will take a couple of days and make a decision based on everything after the call," said Freeze in a text message to Rebels247 on Tuesday morning.
Kelly led East Mississippi Community College to a 12-0 record and the junior college national championship this past season. He was dismissed from the Clemson program last April.
Regular classes begin at Ole Miss on Jan. 19.
