North Texas' John Skladany to retire at end of season

North Texas head coach Dan McCarney announced that defensive coordinator John Skladany will retire at the end of the season.

Currently in his third season with the Mean Greens, Skladany has turned North Texas' defense into one of Conference USA's elite groups, as seven of his players earned all-conference honors in 2013.
He had previously coached at UCF, Houston, and Iowa State.
