After leaving last Saturday's game versus Texas in the first quarter with an apparent elbow injury, it appears No.12 UCLA dodged a bullet.

According to Bruce Feldman of Fox Sports Live, quarterback Brett Hundley suffered a "slight" hyper-extension of his left elbow and team officials said he will be fine.

The Bruins survived without their starting pivot and managed to squeak out a 20-17 win. Hundley was replaced by redshirt sophomore Jerry Neuheisel, who went 23-of-30 for 178 yards with a pair of touchdown passes in the win.

Fortunately for the Bruins they have a bye week, so they'll be able to give Hundley some extra recovery time before traveling to Phoenix to take on No. 16 Arizona State.

UCLA fans, exhale.
