VIDEO: Oregon's Dargan drilled by offensive lineman after interception

Michigan State came into Saturday's showdown against Oregon as the team with the vaunted defense, but it was the Ducks' defenders making big plays in the first quarter.

With the Spartans closing in on field-goal range, Oregon safety Erick Dargan picked off an ill-advised throw by Connor Cook and returned it 36 yards to the Michigan State 39-yard line. However, the end of the play left the biggest impression, literally, as Dargan was drilled out of bounds by Spartans left tackle Jack Conklin.

Here's proof even Michigan State's offensive lineman are experts in tackling:

The Ducks converted the turnover into a one-yard touchdown run by Thomas Tyner and then added a two-point conversion to take an 8-0 lead. Thanks to that result, Dargan likely has no problem being the victim of a huge hit.
