South Carolina quarterback LaNorris Sellers will be living the dream during his fourth year in college.
The redshirt junior won't be taking any classes in the fall semester, with his only academic commitment being an internship at the Par Tee Golf Center in West Columbia. The establishment features a driving range, a short par-3 course, and an 18-hole miniature golf course.
"Just facility management and stuff like that, cutting grass and picking up balls like that," Sellers told 247 Sports' Hale McGranahan when asked about his internship responsibilities.
Sellers, a senior sport and entertainment major at South Carolina, is set to graduate in December. Although he's eyeing a successful NFL career, he said he has his sights set on what he could do if professional football doesn't pan out.
"If I don't end up doing engineering - I've always wanted to do engineering (or architecture) - if I don't do that, then something around stadiums, laying out blueprints, drawing up blueprints, and stuff like that. Or facility management," Sellers said.
The 21-year-old is one of the top quarterback prospects for the 2027 NFL Draft. The 6-foot-3, 238-pound dual-threat signal-caller has been the Gamecocks' primary starter for the last two seasons, posting 6,052 total yards and 46 touchdowns during his college career.
South Carolina will face off against Kent State in its season opener on Sept. 5.
