Report: Pavia accepts invitation to Ravens minicamp
Former Vanderbilt quarterback Diego Pavia accepted an invitation to the Baltimore Ravens' minicamp, a source told ESPN's Adam Schefter.
The invitation is on a tryout basis, and there's no contract involved. The mincamp will take place next weekend.
Pavia went undrafted during last week's event, while 10 other passers heard their names called. He spent the last two years with Vanderbilt following a two-year run at New Mexico State.
The 24-year-old was a Heisman finalist last season and secured the Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award, given to the nation's top upperclassman quarterback. He also took home SEC Player of the Year honors after racking up 4,401 total yards and 39 touchdowns and leading the Commodores to 10 wins, the most in program history.
Pavia, who's listed at 5-foot-10 and 203 pounds, played in 53 games during his college career.
