Augustave transfers to Virginia after 1 season at Colorado
Former Colorado running back Isaiah Augustave is transferring to Virginia, he told On3's Hayes Fawcett.
Augustave led the Buffaloes in carries (85) and rushing yards (384) last season. He recently entered the transfer portal after being left off the team's spring roster and has two years of eligibility remaining.
Colorado is set to have a new-look offense in 2024. Quarterback Shedeur Sanders and wide receiver Travis Hunter are highly coveted prospects in the 2025 NFL Draft, while wideouts LaJohntay Wester, Jimmy Horn Jr., and Will Sheppard will also not be on the roster.
Augustave initially committed to Arkansas as a four-star recruit in 2023 but transferred to Colorado after just one season.
Virginia's offense ranked 12th in the ACC in rushing yards per contest last season and finished with a 5-7 overall record.
