Auburn lands top-3 2025 cornerback Woodby
Auburn secured a commitment from 2025 four-star cornerback Blake Woodby on Saturday.
Woodby is the 22nd overall recruit and third-ranked corner on the ESPN 300. He's also the highest-rated prospect from Maryland.
"Just the family aspect of it," Woodby said of the Tigers' allure in June, according to AuburnSports' Caleb Jones. "I can talk about anything with Coach Freeze, and it's reassuring to get that from the guys on the team."
Woodby originally committed to Ohio State but decommitted in May. The 5-foot-11, 185-pounder also visited Cincinnati and Maryland while holding offers from top programs like Georgia and Oregon.
Woodby headlines a Tigers recruiting class that features eight other ESPN 300 commits, including fellow four-star cornerback Devin Williams.
