Deion teases fashion show, musical guest during spring game weekend
Deion Sanders has big plans for Colorado's spring game festivities this year.
The Buffaloes head coach revealed during an appearance on "Young Money Radio" with Lil Wayne that Colorado will be hosting a series of events during the weekend of the spring game, including a fashion show and possibly even a halftime performance.
"For our spring game, we're doing a whole 'Prime Weekend,'" Sanders said. "We're having a fashion show Thursday, something for the boosters on Friday, and the game on Saturday. We're doing an after-party - white, Black, and Hispanic DJs. We're gonna cover everybody. And then after the game, we're doing something with the alumni.
"But also, maybe, at halftime of the game or right at the end of the game on the rooftop, we're gonna have somebody. It's going down. But we may cut that into the game, so that could be seen with millions of viewers."
Sanders' first spring game with Colorado in 2023 drew a sellout crowd of 47,277, shattering the school's previous spring game attendance record by nearly 30,000 people.
Colorado's spring game is set for April 27 at Folsom Field.
