After Michigan beat Ohio State 45-23 on Saturday, Wolverines cornerback Mike Sainristil planted his school's flag at midfield in Ohio Stadium, and his head coach embraced the moment.

"I want to get that flag," Jim Harbaugh said on Sunday, according to Josh Henschke of Maize&BlueReview. "I want to get that flag and put it in our museum."

Harbaugh dismissed the flag planting - following Michigan's first victory in Columbus since 2000 - as merely a new chapter in the rivalry that dates back to 1897.

"There's already plenty of fuel to the rivalry. They have songs, one about 'don't give a damn about the whole state of Michigan.' I mean, it's all good. It's been going on for a century, don't you think?" Harbaugh said.

Michigan is now 12-0 and sits No. 2 in the latest AP Poll. The Wolverines will face Purdue in the Big Ten championship game on Dec. 3 as they look to secure a spot in the College Football Playoff for the second consecutive season.
