Alabama wide receiver Jameson Williams was helped off the field during the College Football Playoff National Championship game against Georgia after suffering an apparent non-contact leg injury.
Williams was able to walk to the locker room for further evaluation after leaving early in the second quarter, but he will miss the remainder of the game, per ESPN's Marty Smith.
"We've got other players who have opportunity. They're young but have talent," Alabama head coach Nick Saban told ESPN at halftime when asked about replacing Williams.
"They're capable. Don't have the experience, but they're going to get it tonight."
The junior has 75 receptions for 1,507 yards and 15 touchdowns in his first season at Alabama after transferring from Ohio State.
In the SEC title game against Georgia, Williams caught seven passes for 184 yards and two touchdowns in the 41-24 win.
