Clemson wide receiver Justyn Ross is expected to undergo foot surgery and won't play Saturday when the Tigers wrap up their home schedule versus Wake Forest, according to Alexis Cubit of The State.

Ross has been playing with a stress fracture in his foot throughout the season. He aggravated the injury Nov. 13 against UConn and is slated to go under the knife this week.

"They'll just put a little screw in there and he'll be fine," head coach Dabo Swinney said Tuesday.

Swinney noted there's a chance Clemson could delay the surgery and wait until Monday to determine whether Ross can finish the season.

A redshirt junior, Ross leads the Tigers with 46 catches for 514 yards and three touchdowns. Ross underwent neck surgery before the 2020 season for an injury that was considered potentially career-ending, sidetracking a career that began with a boatload of promise.

"One of the greatest blessings of my life has been being able to watch Justyn Ross play football for the last 10 games," Swinney said, via Scott Keepfer of the Greenville News.

Clemson will hit the road to face South Carolina for its final game of the regular season after hosting the Demon Deacons.
