The Sun Belt Conference is eyeing expansion, according to Yahoo's Pete Thamel.
The news follows Tuesday's report that the American Athletic Conference is also looking to expand.
The Sun Belt Conference is apparently considering adding up to four schools. Southern Miss, Marshall, Old Dominion, and James Madison are reportedly among the targets.
Currently, the conference is home to 10 teams, including 14th-ranked Coastal Carolina.
Marshall, Old Dominion, and Southern Miss are currently members of Conference USA, which is also reportedly exploring expansion. James Madison and Liberty have been mentioned as possible targets.
