Milton says he's still deciding between Tennessee, Washington State
Former Michigan quarterback Joe Milton refuted a report that he's decided to transfer to Tennessee, saying Wednesday he's yet to pick between the Volunteers and Washington State.
"Nah," Milton told Chris Hays of the Orlando Sentinel. "I haven't decided yet ... probably Saturday night."
He added: "I haven't done any interviews or anything like that. I just want to finish school and so that's been my focus, graduating."
Milton entered the transfer portal in February after losing the Michigan starting job to Cade McNamara last season.
The 6-foot-5, 243-pounder started five games and appeared in one more for the Wolverines in 2020, throwing for 1,077 yards and four touchdowns against four interceptions.
"I'm excited and I feel like it's time for a new start," Milton said.
The 21-year-old will have three seasons of eligibility remaining.
