4-star DE Dylan Brooks commits to Auburn after Tennessee release

Four-star defensive end Dylan Brooks announced his commitment to Auburn on Saturday after securing his release from Tennessee.
Brooks is the No. 18 overall prospect on the ESPN 300 and the fifth-ranked defensive end.

He immediately becomes the highest-rated addition to the Tigers' 2020 class.
Brooks signed with the Vols in December but opted to leave the program after Tennessee fired head coach Jeremy Pruitt in January. The school subsequently granted Brooks his letter-of-intent release with no restrictions, allowing him to choose any new destination he desired.
The 6-foot-5, 250-pounder racked up 16 sacks and 120 total tackles through two seasons at Handley High School in Roanoke, Alabama, according to 247 Sports.
