A pair of trends came through for us last weekend as we easily cashed the Iowa State-Texas under and LSU plus the points.

Now that we're officially down the final turn of the college football regular season, here are the best tips to keep in mind for Week 14.

All signs point to Texas A&M-Auburn under

Texas A&M and Auburn are lined up in favorable "under" positions when the two SEC clubs meet.

The Aggies have hit six straight as road favorites. Here's how the results have looked over that stretch.

Opponent Result Closing Total Over/Under
South Carolina W 48-3 58.5 U
Texas A&M W 28-14 55 U
Ole Miss W 24-17 54.5 U
Arkansas W 31-27 59.5 U
South Carolina W 26-23 50.5 U
Ole Miss W 31-24 69.5 U

The Aggies have hit seven of the last eight unders on the road in general.

Auburn, meanwhile, hasn't gone over the total since Oct. 10. The Tigers converted eight of the last 10 unders as home 'dogs and each of the last four following a loss of 20 or more.

Points will be at a premium Saturday.

Trend play: Under 48.5

Penn State, Rutgers looking to cash first 'over'

Penn State and Rutgers have met six times since the 2014 season. All six games have gone under the total, and not one has featured more than 41 combined points.

The Nittany Lions are on a 7-2 run to the under as road favorites, while the Scarlet Knights cashed four of the previous five after an outright win.

Traditionally one of the better units in the nation, Penn State's offense ranks just No. 38 in OSP+; Rutgers has been even worse this year, clocking in at No. 101.

It might take these units five quarters to surpass Saturday's total.

Trend play: Under 54.5

Fade Kansas in conference play

Kansas is in a class of its own in the Big 12 … and that's not a compliment.

The Jayhawks are getting outscored by 33.6 points per game this season, the worst clip of any Power 5 program. The school is also on a dreadful 1-10 run against the spread as an underdog and 1-11 ATS the last 12 overall.

Texas Tech hasn't done anything meaningful this season, but there's a reason this spread is close to four touchdowns.

Trend play: Texas Tech -27.5

Tennessee reeling as a home 'dog

Florida's been rolling virtually all season. Is Week 14 at Tennessee the trap game? Don't count on it.

The Volunteers haven't put up a fight in this spot - they're 3-9 ATS the last 12 as home 'dogs and 0-5 ATS the last five at home in general.

SP+ sees a huge discrepancy in talent, slotting Florida No. 9 and Tennessee No. 70.

Lay the chalk on the road squad.

Trend play: Florida -17.5
