The SEC postponed Saturday's game between Ole Miss and Texas A&M because of the number of Aggies quarantining due to COVID-19 protocols, the conference announced Monday.

It's No. 5 Texas A&M's second straight postponed game. The Aggies' matchup with Tennessee was shelved last week.

"Because Texas A&M has a game tentatively scheduled for Dec. 12, the opportunity to reschedule the Ole Miss at Texas A&M game will be evaluated," the conference said, according to Matt Baker of the Tampa Bay Times.

"The rescheduling of games on the remaining SEC football schedule will include Dec. 19 as a playing date."

The SEC was forced to postpone three other games that were scheduled for this past Saturday - Alabama at LSU, Auburn at Mississippi State, and Georgia at Missouri - due to coronavirus outbreaks.
