Purdue wide receiver Rondale Moore, who opted back in to the 2020 season, will miss Saturday's opener versus Iowa, the team announced Friday.
The Boilermakers provided no additional information, according to Mike Carmin of the Journal & Courier.
One of the most exciting players in the Big Ten, Moore posted 114 catches for 1,258 yards and 12 touchdowns as a freshman in 2018, adding 213 yards and two scores on the ground.
He had 29 receptions for 387 yards and two touchdowns in four games last season, missing the bulk of the campaign due to injury.
Moore opted out of the season in August to begin preparing for the 2021 NFL Draft, but he reversed his decision once the Big Ten finalized its return to action.
